Joining the Ogden On-Site Engineering and Technical Services team at Hill Air Force Base, Utah as the Systems Support Team Manager postures you to share your technical skills, leverage your management abilities, and enables your contributions to proven aircraft deployed worldwide. This manager is responsible for the performance of a cross-disciplinary team providing technical support to the US Government at Hill Air Force Base as well as other government agencies and international customers.
This position leads a software project team as well as an electrical and mechanical design team. The teams support aircraft such as the F-16, F-35, C-130 and a host of other aircraft platforms. The selected candidate helps develop solutions to technical challenges, define team plans, implement process improvements and recruits, manages and mentors employees. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for the positive execution of contracted task orders within cost, schedule, performance, and quality requirements. Strong communication, -people skills- and customer relation skills are required for daily interaction with employees, government customer personnel and other Lockheed Martin teams and organizations.
Must be a United States citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered, candidates must have the following Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
- 5+ years of experience working with software or hardware design, implementation, and support teams.
- Solid leadership skills with a minimum of 3 (three) years leadership experience. This typically includes responsibilities in hiring, recognizing and disciplining employees, conducting and/or providing peer inputs for performance reviews, facilitating team meetings, setting objectives/commitments with employees and managing finances. As an alternative to 3 years of leadership experience the candidate must have a minimum of 5 (five) years of team lead experience which includes program management responsibilities.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but would set a candidate apart from other candidates:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (computer science, systems, aeronautical, mechanical, or electronic/electrical engineering, etc.).
- Experience and knowledge of contracting
- A minimum of 5 (five) years of Experience with F-16 requirements, development, integration, test, installation and support. Specific understanding in the following is helpful: USG organic aircraft modification/upgrade programs and processes, firmware, Windows and iOS application development, Automated Weight & Balance System.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
