Overview:

Our ambition as a People and Organization (P&O) function is to co-own the overall Siemens transformation, enabling Siemens' businesses to remain successful in an ever faster-changing environment. The P&O People Relations (Employee Relations) manager plays a key role in this ambition by serving as a trusted advisor to the P&O ecosystem, P&O US leadership team, and business leaders. A critical role of this position will be the ongoing development on the People Relations expert team, critical to the success of P&O US.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Leadership: A high-performing expert team located in the US, providing coaching, guidance, and support to team members. Ability to be a positive future thinker and lead the team in a positive and energetic manner. You love people relations and it shows. You -walk the talk- of ethics and integrity in the organization.

  • Partnership: You'll partner with other groups within the P&O Ecosystem (i.e. shared services organization, P&O Business Partner teams, Compliance, Security, EHS, Management teams and Employees) to mitigate risk to the business.

  • Guidance: You are considered the subject matter expert and you will act as point of escalation to address the most complex employee relations and/or workforce solutions challenges. You will coach, guide and mediate topics that effect your team and key stakeholders.

  • P&O Leadership: Role model a mindset and set of behaviors that align with Siemens leadership philosophies and management best practices.

  • Optimize: You will develop a deep understanding of our internal HR systems and processes. You will connect the dots and self-identify opportunities to drive HR operational efficiency via technology and/or process improvements. By utilizing data, you will create positive people relations activities and projects to shift topics from 'reactive' to 'proactive'

  • Synthesize: Monitor key human capital metrics and use that data to develop solutions. You'll be able to tell both and organizational and a data story to our internal customers. You'll dive into external benchmark data to ensure our operations are performing at the highest level.

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years' employee relations experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of multiple HR subject areas including employee relations, workforce management and HR operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Proven effectiveness at understanding and utilizing data to make impactful decisions

  • Proven effectiveness at investigating complex and high level people related topics and concerns

  • Proven effectiveness at writing investigation summaries

  • Proven ability to multi task and prioritize as work load and priorities shift

  • An influential, relationship-builder with a track record of 10+ years of success operating in complex, matrixed global organization

  • Excels at influencing or managing across functions

  • 3+ years of people management experience, including a track record of developing others

  • Ability to use data to make recommendations which effectively resolve issues and improve working relationships.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • The pay range for this position is $125,100 - $214,600 and the annual incentive target is 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
