The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing company which provides residents in healthcare settings such as nursing/rehab facilities with top of the line optometric care. We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist Assistant to join our team! You'll use your medical and interpersonal skills to assist our Doctors as they provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care to the elderly.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist Optometrist in performing eye exams
Clean and/or organize environment
Dilate (put drops in) patient's eyes for in depth examinations
Assist Optometrist with paperwork, as well as any computer or billing systems
Adjusting eyeglasses
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred
Previous experience working in a nursing home or medical office
Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
