NP/PA - Interventional Radiology - 1.0 FTE

PRACTICE SPECIFICS:

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, caring for patients ranging in age. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. This position offers:

This team is comprised of 3 Physicians, 1 APC (this position) and 14 additional staff members.Ideal candidate will have Vascular Surgery/Interventional Radiology/Minor Procedure Background

Additional Skill Set: Critical Thinker/Independent/Efficient and Organized

Inpatient Rounding at St. Mary's Medical Center on the IR Consults.

Minor Procedures

Will work closely and communicate clearly with the IR scheduler and IR Nurse Navigator as well as with the IR Leadership and Physician Teams.

This position will round in IP at St. Mary's Medical Center, maintaining the IR inpatient consults.

Anticipated Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm May Include Weekend Rotation - No Call at this time.Clinic: 80%

Typical Patients per day in Clinic = 5 as there is an IR Clinic that will be utilized)

Hospital: 20% EDUCATION:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota Current certification in CPR. National certification, in applicable area. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
