Your role:
You are a dedicated Engineering Manager leading the Aeronautics Combat Systems Electro-Optical Team, primarily focused on the F-35 program. This exciting position is with the Combat Systems Hardware team located in Fort Worth, Texas. You will manage, mentor and guide a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds and encourage innovation and technical leadership. As a leader you will foster personal growth and enhance team culture to foster an inclusive work environment for your team. The Electro-Optical Engineering Manager candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Technical management of people, hardware, and software supporting development, production, and sustainment programs.
- Technical lead supporting project execution in development, production, and sustainment programs.
- Coordination with integrated product teams including contracts, subcontracts, suppliers, engineering, engineering support functions, management, and customers to support program and project execution.
- Interpretation of customer requirements, creation of system and equipment level requirements, and development of statements of work, implementation, test, integration, and closure.
- Develop your technical leadership skillset to become an effective leader.
A level 5 employee Typically has 12 - 18 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
-Degree in an Electrical Engineering, Optics, or equivalent from an accredited college
-Seven Plus years of experience with technical project execution
-Five plus years of experience leading technical teams
Desired Skills:
-Multiple years of experience with Avionics Integration
-Experience presenting to leadership and customers
-Multiple years of experience with development and/or integration of mission systems payloads and/or sensors
-Understanding of Systems Engineering and Agile methodologies
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
