Batteries Plus in Snellville GA, is seeking a motivated and dependable Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You'll be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining and creating procedures, communication, and safety.This position falls under the direct supervision of the Franchise Owner and is expected to perform independently and exercise good judgement.
Job Responsibilities:-Serve as support for all stores to include maintenance issues, supplies, hardware, errands, internet/phone outages, light IT support, maintain.-Payroll, recruiting, employee records, unemployment, workers compensation, manage benefits, track PTO, employee memos.-Accounting functions to include vouchering invoices for payment, check runs, mailing statements/invoices, posting cash, collections, reconcile credit cards, reconcile bank accounts, credit applications, State Sales Tax Returns, customer refunds.-Customer service for our commercial and retail customers. Answering phones, emailing invoices, resolving customer complaints.-Assist Franchise owner with building lease renewals, Insurance renewals, marketing, reviewing store schedules and hours worked.
Qualifications:-HS Diploma or equivalent-3 years of experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)-3 years of previous experience in Office Manager/Admin role-Valid DL and dependable vehicle as well as clean driving record-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, projects and demands-Strong verbal and written communication skills-Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver
