Job Summary:

Located in Madison, WI, Frank Productions was established in 1964 and is one of the largest concert promotion companies in the United States. We're a full-service concert promotion company involved in every facet of live entertainment events, including talent buying, production, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships, food & beverage operations and merchandising. We produce and promote events in arenas, performing arts centers, theaters, clubs and other venues across the U.S. We operate offices and venues in Madison, WI, Nashville, TN, Columbia, MO, and Charleston, SC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for general connectivity and communication between relevant departments including Venue Managers, Talent Buying, Marketing, Special Events, Ticketing, Finance, Production, Bar, and Maintenance

  • Develop, maintain, and implement Emergency Action Plan protocols and training in coordination with appropriate FOH and security leadership

  • Responsible for maintaining the back-of-house & dressing room area to meet artists & tour staff expectations

  • Work alongside the Market Director to represent the company to external groups as necessary

  • Create and implement policies and procedures that facilitate excellent customer and client service

  • Assist Venue Operations to ensure all events are properly covered

  • Coordinate with the Facilities Manager and FOH Managers to ensure that assigned venues are always in good working condition

  • Oversight and implementation of venue efficiencies focused on reducing friction, managing expenses, and identifying any ancillary revenue opportunities

  • Assess and acquire the proper equipment and systems at each assigned venue in order to meet event management objectives and budget

  • Provide guidance and direction in the handling of any complaints and concerns from artists, crew, and patrons

  • Develop efficient venue operations systems while collaborating with other departments and providing feasibility input when needed

  • Supervise assigned teammates while providing active coaching, constructive feedback, and opportunities for their development

  • Ensure proper training and tools for venue management and part-time staff

  • Responsible for ensuring that all nightly and monthly reports are completed and managed

  • Lead and delegate effectively, managing open feedback loops to continuously evaluate efficacy

  • Maintain and demand a work climate that attracts, retains and motivates high-quality teammates

  • Ensure the organization's mission, values, commitments, goals and culture are upheld and practiced

  • All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Applicable experience with Production, project management, customer relations, and similar skills

  • Ability to direct a team with leadership qualities that exemplify respect, integrity, teamwork and quality

  • Willingness to work unconventional hours as job duties demand

  • Willingness to travel, as job duties demand

  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems using sound decision-making skills

This position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause.
