The Staffing Specialist is part of a centrally managed team responsible for effectively and consistently filling client orders with qualified, safety-minded Tradesmen Field Employees (FE's) across the Tradesmen National footprint with a market specific focus. The Staffing Specialist are a company asset, filling priority orders as assigned, leveraging current FE's with known track records for safety and skill within their assigned market and beyond. Staffing Specialist are responsible for following a high-volume, internal recruiting strategy and process. Staffing Specialist are responsible for determining when new recruits are needed and will work with the Workforce Coordinators to ensure a qualified pipeline of external candidates and full cycle hiring support. Staffing Specialist own the hiring decision, leveraging compelling and engaging virtual interviewing and evaluating techniques. Staffing Specialist follow a consistent process to maintain accurate FE records, profiles, and availability to ensure productive fill rates and detailed insight into safety, skill, reliability, and employee interest. Staffing Specialist positively impact FE retention by nurturing meaningful employee relationships in a virtual environment, ensuring FE availability is clearly understood and communicated to the sales team. Staffing Specialist support the sales process and play a leading role in operational planning to ensure the right FE's are identified, dispatched, and supported on a job-by-job basis. Staffing Specialist can be client facing, performing inside sales and client relations as needed. Staffing Specialist are the face of Tradesmen and are responsible for presenting Tradesmen as an employer and partner of choice in both a live and a remote environment.
Job Overview:
Drive Safety Culture - Ensure safety culture is upheld through the employee selection process and by maintaining accurate safety records, ensuring minimum safety qualifications are met and engaging in activities to drive and promote safety.
Ensure only qualified and safety-minded FE's are being selected and dispatched
Conduct thorough and compliant interviews and follow all interview protocol
Maintain high standards for obtaining necessary jobsite information
Conduct safety walkouts and jobsite visits as needed
Maintain accurate employee records regarding safety and safety training
Fill Orders - Fill orders by recruiting and selecting the best internal and external candidates that meet the unique qualifications for specified orders and have a proven track record for safety and skill.
Leverage internal recruiting process including new campaigns, pipeline building, and re-engagement efforts to prioritize current and former TI FE's with known track records for safety and skill
Conduct compelling and effective virtual and in-person hiring evaluations for new TI FE's using the SCORE program
Maintain accurate FE records and lead lists to ensure clear line of sight into employee skillset, interest, and availability for matching with new orders
Drive FE commitment and retention through effective engagement and employee utilization strategies
Manage relationships with sales to ensure clear line of sight into project needs and employee resources
Coordinate Projects - Create the game-plan to effectively fill incoming orders and provide ongoing oversight of existing projects by staying on-top of project end-dates, client needs, and opportunities to upsell.
Lead strategic operations meetings and support sales by leveraging opportunities to utilize existing employee resources and new hires
Ensure timely and relevant updates of project end-dates and availability of currently working FE's
Leverage the internal recruiting process to inform sales of current available FE's, quickly react to new priority orders, and drive sales activity based in FE availability
Requirements:
Previous HR/Staffing or Recruiting background is highly preferred. Prior experience fostering and developing relationships in a remote environment would be beneficial. Experience with iCIMS (Applicant Tracking System) and Excel is a plus. Prior construction knowledge is a plus, but not required.

The salary for this position is $50,000. Employees in this position may also, in some circumstances, be eligible for bonus payments on top of the salary payments described above provided the employee meets the requirements of the applicable bonus plan.
