WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Leadership & Management:

- Manage, mentor, and lead Front Line Leaders (FLL) and supervisors across production teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Ensure alignment with organizational goals, providing regular performance feedback, conducting performance assessments, and executing recognition or disciplinary actions as needed.

Production Coordination:

- Coordinate manpower resources and skill sets to optimize production efficiency and ensure the F-35 System Checkout schedules are met.

- Assist in the development of daily crew plans and task scheduling to streamline production processes.

Training & Development:

- Provide mentorship and training to supervisors, enhancing their leadership capabilities and technical expertise.

- Ensure all team members, including represented employees, are up-to-date with safety protocols, compliance regulations, and technical requirements.

Performance Management:

- Conduct regular assessments of team performance, addressing gaps in productivity and efficiency, while implementing solutions for improvement.

- Handle recognition programs and disciplinary actions, ensuring alignment with company policies.

Safety & Compliance:

- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance across the production floor.

- Lead safety initiatives and enforce proper procedures to mitigate risks and maintain operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with professional manufacturing/productions methodologies.

- Experience using instruments, machines, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.

- Experience with business metrics to strengthen performance (cost, schedule, quality).

Desired Skills:

- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel).

- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.

- Previous development experience.

- Working Knowledge of Crew Plans Forecasting manpower.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Greenbelt Certified.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
