Description
SAIC is seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator IV to add to the contract under Distributed Common Ground/Surface System - Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) and to provide them with full system of systems (SoS) lifecycle support to include program management, engineering, and software engineering in support of the research, development, production and fielding of scalable, secure, interoperable, sustainable, and survivable C5ISR, Information Operations (IO), and Enterprise Information Services (EIS) capabilities used by the USMC Intelligence focused Programs of Record (PoR).
The contract will include support for development of new C5ISR capabilities and maintenance and upgrades to existing legacy C5ISR and USMC PoR capabilities.
These tasks will result in the integration of existing USMC hardware and software capabilities into a consolidated system baseline used by the USMC Fleet Marine Force (FMF). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing design and drafting support to complete large complex assembly models and drawings.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
Associate's degree from a school in drafting or illustration, or high school diploma/ GED.
Two (2) years with degree or five (5) years with HS/GED of experience drafting/ illustrating in the electronics field, to include: computerized drafting applications, digital imaging techniques, use of AutoCAD, planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items.
Must be proficient in SolidWorks.
Must be familiar with DoD technical data packages.
Experience with DoD processes and procedures.
Must have an active secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
