About the Role
The Cloud Platform team is part of the Automation & Shared Services group at GapTech and serves engineering teams across all brands and markets. The Cloud Platform provides a modern, secure, scalable and an automated solution to engineering and infrastructure teams across the organization.
The Cloud Platform team is driving an exciting transformation of the way cloud automation is developed, deployed and consumed globally at GapTech, using principles of Cloud Native, DevOps and CI/CD. The Cloud Platform team builds Cloud automation & supports team moving to the MS Azure and Oracle Cloud.
This is a hands-on Systems and Dev-Ops role.
What You'll Do
- Work with a team of top tier DevOps Engineers, Architects, Infosec in delivering best in class Cloud Platform solutions- Drive continuous automation, optimization and modernization initiatives of Gap's Cloud Platform- Work in a collaborative cross-organizational environment - including meetings, requirements gathering, estimations, design sessions and iterative development- Support customers in successfully leveraging Cloud Platform automation & capabilities- Provide final-tier platform support for high impacting issues and events- Create Cloud resources (IaaS) & services (PaaS) pipeline for automated application deployment and develop self-service Cloud management service catalogs catering to customer needs- Implement Cloud platform solutions for Application development teams, including Cloud Provisioning Automation, Application Runtime, App Config Management, CI + CD Pipelines
Hand on exeperice in Kubernetes
Hand on experience in Istio service mesh

Who You Are
Expert knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle, Security Compliance and Agile and SCRUM methodology and considered as leading expert in Software Development.
Expert knowledge of complex software languages and platforms such as Java, Oracle, Azure etc. and emerging languages.
Expert problem solver that is able lead through others developing creative solutions.
Specialized technical expert with experience in developing and influencing teams that are cross functional including internal and external stakeholders including senior levels.
