JMT is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Denver, CO area. The Project Manager will provide construction project oversite using knowledge of general engineering and construction principles and practices to interpret, organize, coordinate, communicate and execute assignments.
Essential skills and responsibilities
Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals
Develop Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects
Provide construction management oversight during all phases of the project
Create and maintain project schedules
Prepare and update cost estimates
Prepare and maintain project budgets
Prepare reports and logs such as inspector daily reports, cost to date, estimated cost to complete, submittals, RFI's, etc.
Manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines
Coordinate with client executive leadership

Required Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Skills
Knowledgeable with CPM scheduling.
OSHA Certified
Knowledgeable in construction testing, inspection and commissioning requirements
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architectural or a related field from an accredited engineering, construction management or architectural program
10+ total years' experience of construction management experience of buildings and facilities with a minimum of 5+ years' experience of federal construction management.
Lead PM on $25M+ Federal Construction Project
Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Preferred Experience
Experience with Fire Life Safety Upgrade Projects.
Experience working with governmental agencies at the federal, city, county and state levels.
Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in both an office and field (construction) environment. Office to field time is approximately 20% to 80% respectively. Field work requires climbing, walking and standing at a construction site and may be outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required.
