BI Developer

Pay 64-67hr

Duration 6 months Location Troy MI 48098

**W2 only

As a BI Developer you will play a critical role in our Insights team, working to transform data into actionable insights, developing visual dashboards and driving informed decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions that support our data-driven initiatives and contribute to the success of the company.

Responsibilities:

-Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and integrate data from various sources into our BI platforms.

-Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.

-Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for reporting and analytics.

-Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in BI solutions to enhance speed and efficiency.

-Data Visualization: Develop intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

-Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand their requirements and provide the necessary data infrastructure and tools.

-Documentation: Document data sources, processes, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainable systems.

-Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).

-Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to utilize BI tools effectively.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).

-Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.

-Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

-Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.

-Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. (AWS preferred)

-Excellent communication, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

-Knowledge of automotive industry data is a plus
