The Opportunity:
As a Test Engineer III, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products through rigorous independent verification and validation (IV&V) and the development of automated testing processes. You will utilize your skills to test and maintain robust software solutions, contributing to the innovation and enhancement of our development practices. Your role will be central to delivering high-quality software that meets our clients' needs and expectations.
Responsibilities:
Conducting independent verification and validation (IV&V) software testing to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Developing and implementing automated software tests to streamline and enhance the testing process.
Applying Agile Scrum methodologies and to guide and mentor the development team in best practices.
Conducting research, design, and development of computer and network software, as well as specialized utility programs.
Maintaining and enhancing database applications within various software solutions.
Utilizing modern software development methodologies such as Agile, DEVOPS, and DEVSECOPS to ensure efficient project delivery.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
Providing guidance and training in Agile Scrum methodologies to promote continuous improvement and best practices within the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
An Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification (or the ability to obtain immediately) is required for this position.
Notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
Ten (10) years of professional experience with Masters or fourteen (14) years with Bachelor's degree in the research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, including database maintenance within an application area.
Three (3) years of experience in independent verification and validation (IV&V) software testing.
Three (3) years of experience in developing automated software tests.
Two (2) years of experience in Agile Scrum Master training.
International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) - must be obtained within six (6) months of task order award

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$95,500-$210,100
