Description
As the SailPoint/ServiceNow Integration Engineer , your primary focus will be interfacing with customers to transform Identity related requirements into fully functional cross-modular solutions based on ServiceNow and SailPoint platforms. This includes building custom workflows for processes and procedures, custom user interfaces within ServiceNow Portal and workspaces, actionable dashboards, and integrations with existing data sources from SailPoint and Radiant Logic.
You will serve as the ServiceNow SME to the larger ICAM team, working closely with the SailPoint team members to support integration of Identity management related workflows into ServiceNow platform. Expect to work in cross-functional teams across a large government organization helping various stakeholders meet their Identity management workflow needs and their larger Identity management strategy.
The successful candidate will have passion for using ServiceNow to build and automate workflows in support of Identity management and governance through SailPoint.
The position may allow temporary hybrid remote work due to Covid-19. Position may be called back onsite at any time at the customer's request. 3 days onsite or as required by customer.
Responsibilities
As a SailPoint/ServiceNow integration Engineer, you will be at the front lines with our clients supporting them with their ServiceNow integration requirements specifically interfacing with internal customers to transform requirements into fully functional modular solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This includes building custom workflows for processes and procedures, custom user interfaces within Service Portal and workspaces, actionable dashboards, and integrations with existing data sources and tools.
The successful candidate is able to build workflows through ServiceNow , has strong knowledge of SailPoint, and hands-on experience with integration of SailPoint and/or ServiceNow.
Support system integrations for both internal facing and external facing systems/applications with SailPoint IdentityIQ
Work with Application Teams to identify, aggregate and correlate Application/System User Accounts to Identity Cubes within SailPoint and integrate supporting workflows through ServiceNow.
Development and configuration experience of SailPoint various modules (e.g. audit, compliance, lifecycle, service account)
Design, Develop, Test and Troubleshoot Custom System/Application Connectors within SailPoint IdentityIQ
Serves as a technical advisor on ServiceNow related integration and customer related issues.
Assists in the review, design, and improvement of ServiceNow processes and procedures.
Provide technical leadership in all of our ServiceNow related activities.
Provide on-going production and end user support, along with administration functions such as managing users, workflows, tables, and data.
Utilize tools to regularly monitor and analyze system performance, perform regular maintenance, and proactively take corrective actions as necessary to ensure platform reliability.
Use a systematic approach and a wide breadth of ServiceNow platform knowledge to troubleshoot, identify, and solve technical issues.

Responsible for defining requirements, designing workflows, participating in all build/configuration, testing, and implementation activities, as well as analysis and troubleshooting to meet specifications of a project or service request.
Monitors and employs source code control techniques and configuration management to ensure configuration is consistent across development and production environments.
Ensure ServiceNow applications meet SailPoint security standards and best practices.
Responsible for developing training materials and plans for end users, as well as providing initial and recurring training to business users as the platform continues to evolve.
Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other third-party applications via Integration Hub or custom API development.
Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create scripts that automate repetitive tasks.
Create custom user interfaces to improve the overall user experience of ServiceNow, leveraging custom HTML/CSS/ JavaScript when necessary.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
5+ years hands on experience with ServiceNow development and administration at an enterprise level designing, building and continuously improving scalable ServiceNow solutions using out-of-box functionality.
Experience with Rest Web services, SAML 2.0, SailPoint IdentityIQ, OAuth, WS-Security, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and other authentication/authorization protocols
Experience in integrating SailPoint IIQ with Okta, CyberArk, ServiceNow, Azure AD and API development.
Required Clearance
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Ability to obtain an Interim Top Secret security clearance prior to starting work.
Desired
Experience with Glide APIs, JavaScript, HTML, XML, AJAX and REST web-services
Experience in CMDB, Discovery and integration with other modules
Strong conceptual understanding of ServiceNow's relational database and data model
Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices
Experience with QA methodologies (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans)
Knowledge of APIs and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
Ability to make source code level changes within J2EE development, Database, Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.
Skilled at analyzing and mapping complex business processes to technical solutions, while identifying opportunities for business process re-engineering
Familiarity with the continuous delivery model and agile development processes
Must have a high focus on user experience with a propensity for incorporating modern design trends into solution design.
Current implementation specialist certifications for ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM or CSM, along with a System Administrator certification
Product expertise in IIQ, CyberArk, Okta, Microsoft Active Directory, Relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/DB2), Java, BeanShell, REST API and webservices
A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies.
