Summary
The IT Support will provide level 2 technical assistance in support of MOD's instore technology and employees. IT Support Specialists work under limited supervision and are responsible for incident ownership and resolution.
This position serves as an escalation for all instore technology which includes, POS and peripherals, Store hardware and network connections. A strong desire to solve problems and work with internal customers are necessary characteristics for the role.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot store technical issues via phone with store employees.
Create and execute support tickets by priority and distribute tickets to other members of the MOD I.T. team
Setup, support and maintain Support Center computers and hardware
Troubleshoot network and ISP connectivity issues
Suggest improvements to the IT incident and problem management processes.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of technical experience with 1-year experience in helpdesk environment
General understanding of internet technologies
Good understanding of desktop operating systems
Self-motivation and goal orientation
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, obtain results, and provide solutions for a broad range of technical challenges.
Ability to learn and understand the functional and technical elements of MOD's technology solutions
Dependable and able to work a rotating schedule.
Ability to independently work and problem solve in changing, ambiguous environment

Physical Requirements
Office Semi-Technical work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to handle or move objects. Semi-regularly positioning oneself (e.g., stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch) to set up, install, and repair computer equipment. Systems & Network Admin/Engineers regularly handle or move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.; occasionally up to 40lbs (team lift okay). Deskside Support regularly handle or move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Communicate or exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person or electronically.
