As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency and security of our computer network systems. Your extensive experience will be key in managing and maintaining both physical and cloud-based infrastructure, providing high-level support and training to staff, and implementing advanced security measures. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will engage with a variety of technologies and systems, contributing to the overall cybersecurity and operational strategy of the organization.
More About the Role:
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
Installing hardware, software, and system upgrades, and managing network accounts and network security.
Designing, updating, and maintaining web pages, interfaces, and local system documentation.
Maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection services.
Designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, including networking, compute instances, and associated support services.
Training staff on software applicable to their positions and assisting customers with information technology needs.
Monitoring system configurations (hardware and software) and providing instruction on computers and applications.
Ensuring compliance with the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce best practices for system administration and network security.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
Master's degree with seven (7) years or Bachelor's degree with eleven (11) years of professional experience in systems administration.
Experience supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems.
Experience with the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, and managing network accounts.
Experience in network security, web page design and updates, and local system design documentation.
Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection services.
Two (2) years of experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, including networking, compute instances, and associated support services.
Ability to train staff on software and assist customers with IT needs.
Capability to monitor system configurations and provide instruction on computers and applications.
Individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certification.
Microsoft Technology Associate certification.
Certified SAFe Agilist certification.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
