Description
SAIC is seeking a Software Tester to support the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program at Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Perform software/hardware installation procedures and provide documentation redline corrections to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Perform software/hardware test procedures and provide documentation redline corrections to SMEs
Participate in on-site and off-site test events and fieldings, installing/verifying software on fielded systems
Assist with software baseline audits and managing a Software Version Document (SVD)
Assist with the development and/or review of software fielding plans, briefs and test execution plans
Be available to travel CONUS and OCONUS for fieldings and test events
Enter software/hardware trouble tickets
Assist with development and quality check of software troubleshooting guides and procedures
Assist team with ensuring all software meets cyber compliance requirements
Travel varies based on customer/project requirement. On average, most team members travel once every few months for 2 to 4 weeks per trip, up to 25% of the year
Qualifications
Required Education :
Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; Four (4) years' experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Skills :
Must be familiar with Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 (or later), Linux, SharePoint
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence a plus
Required certification:
Clearance :
Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; Interim Secret clearance minimum required to start.
