C2BMC is an IDIQ structured program comprised of multiple task orders responsible for the design, development, deployment, integration, testing, operations and sustainment of a software based Command/Control and Battle Management system. This system provides US Commanders around the globe essential situational awareness and is the integrating element central to the MDA's missile defense missions.
The Work
In this role, you'll work closely with warfighters, acquisition staff and contractors to build consensus on the need, purpose and success criteria are for the various mission sets addressed by the C2BMC Enterprise. This includes collaborating across communities to conduct Mission Refinement, documenting expected system usage in Operational Concepts and building Business Cases that drive funding for production and IRAD.
The MDA Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team and collaborates with multiple government agencies, contractors, universities, and other organizations to accomplish a diverse and broad reaching mission. A successful candidate understands and has worked with Command and Control Systems in the operational arena. Proven experience leading a team to achieve C2BMC National Team (NT) and government customer goals and milestones for program success.
As the C2BMC Warfighter Lead, you will lead a team of four warfighter C2BMC Liaison Officers (LNOs) located at the COCOMs and other locations. Lead the C2BMC subject matter experts (SME): Planner Support Cell, Training and Link 16 areas. Serve as the primary interface with MDA/BCWW on all warfighter related issues, provide weekly warfighter report highlighting potential issues/actions to inform MDA leadership, chair weekly update/status meeting with BCWW and keep the global C2BMC warfighter community aware of C2BMC issues through issuing C-Notes and meetings. In addition, will act as the SME lead for/interface with NORTHCOM, CMSFS and JFCC-IMD for all C2BMC activities. Provide warfighter support to STRATCOM when directed by MDA/BCWW. Assist in providing warfighter requests for C2BMC capability by coordinating approval process, submitting SMR, brief BCWW of progress and work directly with warfighter to ensure capability is delivered. Will work with NORTHCOM to define roles, missions, ops concepts and C2BMC system requirements. Will support C2BMC NT daily operations to include weekly meetings and assist NORTHCOM develop operations crew training requirements. Occasional international travel required.

Basic Qualifications:
-An Interim Top Secret clearance is needed prior to starting
-Strong problem solving, root cause, corrective action, and closure skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision is essential
-Understanding of MDA C2BMC operational capabilities, the Missile Defense System (MDS) and how integrated missile defense course of actions are developed.
Desired Skills:
-Must have an understanding of the MDS architecture, how weapon engagement systems and sensors are integrated by C2BMC to provide actionable information to sensor managers and COCOM senior leadership.
-Must be a team builder and possess outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
-Experience briefing at senior officer levels is highly desired and ability to explain C2BMC capability to execute missile defense mission.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
