Our Reconciliation Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity within an organization by ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are promptly addressed. This position requires a blend of technical accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement. Leads a team of Reconciliation Specialists to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of monthly reconciliations for all lines of business. Reports to the Director of Accounting Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and work within all appropriate controls to assure compliance with TIH's internal control policies and procedures to ensure accurate reporting of financial results.
Ensure that discrepancies or variances are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.
Develop and implement efficient reconciliation processes and procedures and document appropriately. Continuously review reconciliation workflows to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.
Supervise and lead a team of reconciliation specialists or analysts. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Prepare regular reports on reconciliation status and outcomes. Analyze reconciliation data to identify trends, root causes of discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely reconciliation information.
Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, and audit to resolve reconciliation issues. Communicate reconciliation results and findings to stakeholders and management effectively.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in accounting or financial reconciliation roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.
Workday experience (preferred).
Blackline Reconciliation Software (preferred).

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Financial Acumen-- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Analytical Skills--Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends or anomalies.
Attention to Detail--Thoroughness in reviewing and reconciling financial information.
Leadership--Experience in leading and motivating a team. Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
Software Proficiency--Familiarity with financial software and reconciliation tools.
