As an In-house Great Plains Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our financial management system using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains). Your primary responsibility will be to analyze business requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure the smooth functioning of our financial operations. You will collaborate closely with our finance team and IT professionals to optimize the system's performance and usability.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to financial operations.
Design, develop, and implement Microsoft Dynamics GP solutions, including customizations, integrations, and enhancements.
Create and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the financial management system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support for Great Plains-related issues.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, suggesting improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the system's efficiency.
Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on system features and functionality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Great Plains Developer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) development, customization, and integration tools, such as Dexterity, Modifier with VBA, eConnect, and Web Services.
Strong programming skills in SQL, .NET, and C#.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
