Volcom is looking for an eCommerce Customer Service Rep to join our corporate team! The eCommerce Customer Service Rep will be responsible for handling customer service request via phone calls, inbound emails, and instant message chat requests.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Ensure timely resolution of all order discrepancies, shortages, mis-shipments, defective products, and returns
- Well versed in key product knowledge with ability to cross sell, upsell, and make recommendations to consumers while on the phone or on chat
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 1-2 years of experience within an ecommerce Customer Service environment preferred
- Excellent Customer Service skills is a must
- Must be able to work full time hours in person from our Costa Mesa HQ
- Able to identify and solve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Knowledgeable with the wholesale/retail industry
- Excellent communication/listening skills and have experience in conflict resolution
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain proper conduct with customers, accounts, and employees
- Eager to increase knowledge and efficient ways to better serve the customer service department
- Bilingual Spanish/French is an added plus
