The Opportunity:

CACI Intl., is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to support NSWC Corona Division's Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program in the Hampton Roads Virginia area. The candidate should possess experience and the ability to perform, support, or review security assessments to identify vulnerabilities or non-compliance and provide recommend actions to mitigate or eliminate identified threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate, and verify complex system-wide security requirements based on analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.

  • Design, develop, and deploy security system architectures to meet evolving customer needs.

  • Design, develop, implement and/or integrate security components including for networking, computing, and multi-enclave environments.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security functionality in varied products and services across the enterprise environment.

  • Review, provide feedback, and help update and maintain project and program documentation which contain IS stipulations, such as system security plans (SSP), certification and accreditation (C&A) packages, and other system design artifacts.

  • Enforce compliance with security authorization activities in accordance with Government standards and the RMF.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Masters degree in Computer Science (or other related technical field) and (12) years relevant experience. Educational requirement may be adjusted in consideration of work experience consisting of highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable skill.

  • Extensive experience working with DIACAP, RMF, NIST, and other federal guidelines. Experience utilizing assessment tools (e.g., ACAS, SCAP, HBSS) and RMF process tools (e.g., MCCAST, eMASS, eArcher, VRAM and DITPR-DON/DADMS).

  • DCWF (DoD Cyber Workforce Framework) requirements with current baseline and Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications: (Preferably VMware, Linux and/or Microsoft Windows 2022).

  • Active SEC+ CE certification.

  • Meet DCWF requirements with current baseline and Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications as needed. Shall possess the necessary training, qualifications, and experience for the IAT-I level at a minimum in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2 and DoD 8140/8570. CISSP required and Certified Navy Validator preferred.

Desired:

  • . Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

  • . PHD degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
