Job Description:
This position serves as the data and integration expert for the applications they support, which could include both Epic and other Enterprise applications. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for working with stakeholders at all levels across Essentia Health to understand analytics needs and translate those needs into analytics solutions. This requires collaboration with other members of the application support team to understand workflows, identify the right data elements, and select the best tool(s) to meet customer needs. Business Intelligence Analysts are intrigued and driven by the challenge of creating information from data. Skilled at organizing the presentation of quantitative information to facilitate understanding, illuminate decision making, creating actionable data. Work Experience: 2 years' experience in data development, data analysis, report programming, Cogito Suite. Includes a foundational understanding of relational data models or application toolset foundations. Prior experience with business intelligence tools. Examples include, but are not limited to: Epic Cogito Suite, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, Registries, Healthy Planet, Slicer/Dicer, Clarity/Caboodle Data Model, Crystal Reports, WEBi, SQL, Tableau, Qlik, SSIS, Python, R or other analytic toolsets. Experience managing Clarity and/or Caboodle ETL processes a plus.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or technology/healthcare related field.

No certification/licensure required.
