Job Description:
Oversees the Essentia Health Laboratory Quality Management System including key performance indicators, document control, competency, nonconformance reporting, process improvement and training. Provides leadership, technical expertise, direction and hands on involvement in driving compliance to quality and regulatory requirements across the Essentia Health System. This position has direct oversight for the department program managers and department teams. This position will use project management skills to lead teams to drive quality improvements.
Education Qualifications:
Graduate of a four-year degree in Medical Laboratory science
5 years of previous experience in a hospital or clinic laboratory that includes at least two years of leadership experience.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification or ability to obtain certification within one year from date of hire. Licensed per state requirement.
