The Staff Contracts Negotiator will work in the F-35 Training and Logistics Market Segment primarily supporting IWTAs (inter-company agreements) with our sister company, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The contracts negotiator will support the F-35 Ground Support Equipment market with proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including Program Management, Finance, Legal, Subcontracts, Business Development, Engineering, Human Resources, Accounting, and Compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including capture activities, proposal preparation/submittal, negotiations, and contract terms and related performance obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. The staff contracts negotiator will maintain communication with cross-functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to execute the required actions on time. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance

Basic Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

. Preferred Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.

. Recent Contracts experience; U.S. Government contracts experience.

. First-hand negotiation experience.

. Ability to make effective presentations to senior management.

. Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract

.Ability/willingness to travel as needed. Preference to have the ability to come into the Orlando or Marietta office once a week but willing to negotiate teleworking arrangement with EST work hours.

. Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance. This requires US Citizenship.

Desired Skills:

. Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills.

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

. Knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and

procedures; specifically CMS-510.

. Knowledge of Lockheed Martin's Electronic

Contracting Systems.

. Contract drafting and execution experience.

. This individual will have demonstrated abilities to develop customer relationships, both internally and externally.

. Demonstrated experience with briefing senior leadership on program status and contractual issues

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
