The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting business objectives with employees and management within theBatteries PlusStores nationwide. TheHR Business Partnerwill formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. As theHR Business Partnerfor our stores, daily functions will include hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits and leave and enforcing company policies and practices.

The ideal HR Business Partner , will have general HR experience and have a demonstrated track record of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders from employees to management. Responsibilities :

  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.

  • Provides day to day performance management guidance

  • Partners with the recruitment team to facilitate and collaborate with departmental managers to fill open positions.

  • Reviews, tracks and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education and work assessments.

  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Google Suites and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent relationship building skills and able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
