Senior Automotive Technician
Position Summary
The Senior Automotive Technician assesses vehicles to accurately diagnose equipment failures, removes and replaces parts as necessary, and repairs any necessary mechanical or electrical issues. This position may perform routine maintenance and will work on several domestic and foreign vehicles. Technicians will learn specialized diagnostics and the repair of engines, electronic systems, drive trains, suspensions, brakes, heating & air conditioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Uses manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify and isolate issues and potential problemsPerforms quality repairs and replaces worn, old or defective auto partsTests parts and systems to ensure they are working correctlyKeeps accurate logs of all work performedMaintains a clean work area and ensures equipment and tools are in safe, usable conditionComplies with Dent Wizard's safety practices, policies and protocols
Assists with the training, development, and mentoring of less experienced TechniciansOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional automotive mechanic experienceSound problem-solving skillsDesire to work in a team environment

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base pay is expected to be between $25.00/hr. - $32.00/hr. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
