Position Summary
We are seeking Architectural Designers who are passionate about design for communities. Our projects have positive impact on our city and we are looking to grow our Philadelphia, PA office with designers looking to have creative input on public projects. We are seeking architects and designers with 3 -12 years of experience. Our preference is for a candidate with a range of project experience. Experience working in transportation, k-12 and with municipal authorities on public works projects a plus. Individuals will be part of a dynamic and committed team that focuses on sustainable and inclusive project outcomes in all our work.
The duties of this position include, programming, design, and construction documentation, BIM documentation and model management and 3d software's.
Candidates must demonstrate skills for managing, organizing and coordinating multiple project tasks, to complete the design and production for a variety of architectural projects. Successful candidates must demonstrate prior work and should expect to actively engage in design, technical detailing, product research, management and business development endeavors of the firm. Excellent design, graphic and verbal presentation skills are essential to this position.

Required Skills
Proficient in use of Autodesk REVIT and related tools and processes
Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and related tools and processes
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and SketchUp
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)
Excellent written and communication skills
Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; good planning skills
An attitude and commitment towards personal growth and team success
Required Experience
Registered Architect in PA: NCARB certification preferred
5- 10 years' experience working in the programming, planning, design and construction of large-scale commercial and institutional projects.
Experience in Multi-Phase Design Documentation, Construction and Permitting processes
Knowledge of building materials, specifications, construction techniques
Extensive knowledge of life safety requirements, building codes and accessibility guidelines
Must have experience in preparation of architectural contract documents
Experience with projects which have been recognized for sustainable designs

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
