SAIC is seeking an Security Classification Analyst in Arlington, VA to support the Army National Guard (ARNG), focusing on derivative classification, standard operating procedures (SOP) and security education, training, and awareness (SETA) for Information Security (INFOSEC) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programs. INFOSEC concerns effective classification, dissemination, and safeguarding methodologies for protection of classified national defense and other sensitive information originated or controlled by Federal agencies.
Job Duties:
Establish guidance and templates for personnel access controls and Visitor access rosters
Must be familiar with classified secure procedures, physical storage and control of classified and CUI documentation and equipment
Transmitting, transferring, reproducing, derivative classification, and destroying information in accordance with (IAW) Army Regulation (AR) 380-5
Assist in the development, planning, monitoring, instructing, and implementing of effective INFOSEC programs for ARNG.
Perform oversight reviews to monitor program implementation and practices throughout the 54 ARNG states and territories.
Process requests and questions from states' security managers for INFOSEC support and assist with automating the state request system.
Interpret National Security requirements to update, develop, and implement ARNG INFOSEC policies and procedures on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials.
Develop and Conduct INFOSEC workshops, security briefings, and security education programs for ARNG throughout the 54 states and territories.
Support Army Protection Program Assessment (APPA) trips to help assess and improve the INFOSEC programs throughout the 54 states and territories.

3+ years' information security experience and in-depth knowledge of INFOSEC-related regulations and instructions, including:
AR 380-5 -Army Information Security Program-
DoDI 5200.01 -DoD Information Security Program and Protection of SCI-
DoDI 5200.48 -Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)-
1+ years' experience with assessments, inspections, and/or evaluation of security programs.
Possess strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Possess strong analytic and organization skills, works well independently without nearby corporate support.
