Develops and facilitates relevant and effective education for clinical staff and assumes responsibility for nursing development which advances the practice of nursing at Essentia in assigned area. The incumbent will employ innovative educational strategies including simulation and online learning to assure that state-of-the-art nursing care is delivered. This includes responsibility for: creation of dynamic orientation programs, education to meet competency standards and regulatory requirements, programs to address specific nursing practice issues, continuing education, career development/role development programs, research and scholarship, and academic partnerships. In conjunction with unit or department Nursing Leadership, will create methods to assure specialty training for clinical populations with the goal of advancing the depth of clinical knowledge to support collaborative practice. Work Experience: 2 years of Registered Nurse experience

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in nursing, Master's degree preferred

Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
