The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking experienced System Engineers to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
As part of the NGI Engineering team, you will perform tasks related to the development of the overall system. You should have a thorough understanding of at least one of the key system engineering subject areas with the opportunity to work in all Engineering fields to include system architecture, requirement allocation, requirement verification and system integration.
In addition, you will:
- Support program reviews such as SRR, PDR, PDTIM, and CDR
- Participate in Specification and Interface Control Document development as well as support the process to include the development of Test Plans.
- You may also support missile system analyses in support of mission planning and ability to implement as well as tests at various test ranges.
- Some travel may be required.
- Be involved in all phases of the project development (e.g., architecture development, CONOPS, definition, qualification, integration assembly, and test).
- Work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple subject areas, program management, and customers to help aim for a complete solution.

A successful candidate typically holds a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering (or related) experience and full knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:
1. Requirement Identification, decomposition, and allocation
2. Interface control document and element specification development and management
3. Planning or performance of requirements
4. System-level missile system analysis
5. Hardware and/or software test planning and/or execution
6. System Integration
- Active or Current DoD Secret Level Security Clearance - US Citizenship required

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
