Description
SAIC has an opportunity for a Software Tester in Huntsville, AL providing support to the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) under the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) on the Redstone Arsenal.
The Software Tester will be responsible for the following:
Help test an image generator system used with UAS simulations, and a large procedural trainer used for assembly and disassembly of certain types of equipment.
Develop and executes test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
Develop test plans, test schedule, and approach.
Participate in an integrated team operating under the Agile Framework.
Document test results using an Atlassian Jira issue and project tracking system.
Occasionally performs other IT systems engineering activities such as requirements, design, installation, operation, sustainment, and support.
Help with development of automated test programs.

Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
Experience with Agile project management tools including Jira and Confluence
Experience with software version control tools such as Perforce
