TheTransfer Driverwill transfer product between the overflow warehouse and the main warehouse forBatteries Plus. TheTransfer Driverwill be driving a 26' straight truck (box truck), operating a forklift and a pallet jack. This role will also be loading and unloading materials/products for storage and staging.

Shifts Available:
2nd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 2p-10p plus additional $.75/hour shift premium
3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 10p-6a plus additional $1.25/hour shift premium
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspection of vehicle (report maintenance needs and deficiencies immediately)
Secure and safely transport material between buildings
Secure and prep the truck at the end of shift for the next shift
Load and unload straight truck with walkie-rider or hand operated pallet jack
Load and unload vendor's trailers with sit-down forklift or walkie-rider
Organize and stage product on the dock after unloading
Breakdown pallets, identify product, units of measurement (UOM) and accurately count product
Use scanning device to record and receive product into the system
Use forklifts and walkie-rider to move and organize equipment
Identify storage locations for product, accurately complete put away transaction
Follow all safety procedures and rules established in the facility. Wear proper PPE.
Keep all work areas clean and free of hazards. Notify the supervisor of any safety hazards or damaged products
Actively participate in all safety and other training programs
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record for past 3+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
Truck driving experience
Forklift certification
Operate with minimum oversight after given instructions
Good communication skills both written and verbal
