Location: Florida Panhandle
The FL VPK Project Supervisor is responsible for the overall functions and process for the state funded Pre-K program. They will manage the VPK enrollment and roster verification process including teacher credentials, student data, and program data.
Experience
Minimum three to five years VPK knowledge
Educational Requirements
Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree
VPK Admin Certification
Skills
- Knowledge of Florida VPK Program Operating Guidelines
- Proficient in adult learning and coaching principles
- Ability to create and facilitate training for various audiences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and budgeting
- Ability to travel independently throughout FL Districts to support all schools that provide VPK
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Administer and monitor all aspects of Florida VPK Programs
- Remain current on laws and requirements regarding each program under VPK and meet with related
staff to interpret and implement regulations
- Monitor schools for adherence to all FL VPK guidelines and regulations
- Partner with districts, site and participating private school administration on curriculum and
coordination.
- Monitor the evaluation and initiate program improvement strategies as well as review the children's
VPK results
- Prepare all required reports to maintain all appropriate records as well as yearly contracts
- Partner will the various coalitions to learn requirements of each county including their approved
attendance guidelines
- Set each year's class schedule to confirm required instructional hours are being met and holidays are
accounted for.
- Recognize and schedule teacher trainings and meetings
- Work with all cross-functional teams and stakeholder
