This will be a Hybrid role 4 days a week in the Charlotte Office preferred and/ or Atlanta office.

This role is for a strategically-minded consultant within the newly formed Enterprise Change and Transformation organization - specifically will lead smaller-scale (vs. the Enterprise Lead roles within the transformation organization) multi-LOB or critical single LOB initiatives from an end-to-end perspective (i.e. across all required levers - including but not limited to process, policy, tech, product, client/internal stakeholder experience, op model, go to market tactics, risk/legal/compliance considerations, etc.).

In addition, help shape the development of transformation priorities across the Truist enterprise by analyzing large sets of data, creating insightful takeaways and recommendations, and engaging senior (e.g., EL+2) business and functional leaders to gain critical internal points of view - all with an objective to shape go forward transformation at the Truist enterprise level.

Lastly, this consultant will be called upon by the Head of Transformation & Change to perform highly visible ad-hoc strategic projects that may require a high level of confidentiality and/or are being performed on behalf of EL and EL+1 leaders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of key transformation focus areas and initiatives for the Truist enterprise, working in conjunction with Corporate Strategy, Finance / other key business partners, and the transformation initiatives / strategic prioritization leads within the transformation organization.

  • Comprehensively research and synthesize corporate strategic plans, financial goals, consumer / team member needs and pain points - this includes but is not limited to researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative info such as industry/internal data, customer feedback, industry trends, Truist competitive positioning, and Truist's corporate strategies.

  • Engage business and functional leaders/partners 2-3 levels down from the EL (most times independently) to gain internal points of view and ensure perspectives are accounted for within the work they are completing - including dependencies and sequencing considerations.

  • Perform qual / quant analyses (e.g., benchmarks, industry trends, internal ops & financial data, etc.) to make the case for change or solutions required within the initiative.

  • Complete highly visible ad-hoc strategic projects that may require a high level of confidentiality and/or are being performed on behalf of the Head of Transformation & Change.

  • May be asked to maintain pulse of the strategic investment council (SIC) portfolio for Head of Strategic Prioritization and SIC Council - including reconciliation of funding v. plans, and providing the Head of Transformation & Change with weekly content to prepare for investment portfolio planning discussions that they may be having with Executive Leadership and/or Board.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar business/analytical discipline.

  • 7+ years of work experience within Financial Services; experience in one or a combination of the following: strategic execution, corporate strategy / strategic consulting, and/or product management.

  • Ability to communicate/readout/engage with senior leadership including independently when asked.

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Experience executing in a matrixed environment and engaging with senior stakeholders to achieve common business goals (e.g., tech, risk, legal, product teams, etc.)
