Job Description
Utilize the OS&D report to audit receiving
Investigate and rectify all discrepancies
Report accurately all receiving discrepancies including damaged product and over receipts
Adjust inventory in cooperation with inventory control as it applies to the receiving
department
Maintain open communication with the purchasing department
Handle calls from carriers and individual customers related to delivery issues for LTL,
cartage, and small parcel supplies
Open and close all truck paperwork
Arrange and coordinate shipments to and from the purchasing department
Provide support to receivers with new product, UPC and packaging changes
Schedule deliveries for incoming freight
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Red Prairie and/or similar technologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High School Degree or equivalent
Basic Math and Reading Skills
1-3 years job related experience, Microsoft Office and distribution software experience
