CNC MACHINIST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to and including 5-axis mills and 6-axis lathes
All types of drilling, tapping and milling and turning
Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
5+ years of experience in set up, operation and/or programming of CNC mill or lathe machines
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
G-code familiarity (hand edit ability)
2+ years of horizontal mill experience
2+ years of lathe experience
2+ years pf CNC programming experience
Ability to read and work off of a blueprint
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is a 1st shift role working from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted
Ability to stand for extended periods - 8 hours min
Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting
