Description: We are Lockheed Martin
Data Analyst, F-35 Development - Level 2
This position in the F-35 Development Program Office Technical Integration team will focus on the development of the F-35 Air System Playbook. The successful candidate will have a technical background and apply several different skillsets to pull together this complex product.
What You Will Be Doing
- Data Management: Candidates will determine what datasets are relevant to program planning and execution. They extract, transform, and load the existing data so it can be ingested into linear optimization algorithms that need to simultaneously solve millions of dependencies to produce program planning recommendations.
- Data Analysis Tool Development: Candidates assess linear optimization program outputs to troubleshoot program gaps. When gaps are found, the employees perform software coding and checkout using Python, Gurobi Solvers, Tableau, MATLAB, Visual Basic, and Microsoft Office Macros to close the analytical gaps. Employees also identify new data streams, update program numerical models, and integrate that data into overall program planning.
- Data Analysis and Optimization Theory Improvements: Candidates refactor code and optimize algorithms to determine which unique numerical optimization methods need to be employed to resolve program issues related to resource capacity.
- Data Processing and Automation: Candidates automate the inputs and outputs to minimize human-in-the-loop roles and workload to process the very large datasets involved.
- Technical Program Planning:
Candidates develop and coordinate technical program planning updates that are largely driven by the inputs and outputs to the linear optimization modeling.
- Assembly of the F-35 Air System Playbook:
Candidates will pull data from multiple sources to provide a one-stop shop for information related to developing and fielding capabilities across the F-35.
