As part of Brand Communications and Community, this team is responsible for bringing the Un-carrier message to life through live experiences and brand partnerships. They are the brains behind signature programs and partnerships like, Un-carrier events, T-Mobell, Club Magenta, the UNSTOPPABLE Tour, Winner's Circle and Peak.

Job Description

The Events team brings the Un-carrier brand and message to life through live experiences, connecting with people over shared passion points to grow our brand and business. The team is chartered with the development, oversight, and execution of brand sponsorships and events. We are seeking an Events Intern that will support the T-Mobile Events Team in the execution of T-Mobile USA events, which may include trade/industry, consumer, press and media-related events.

The individual must have knowledge in an applicable field, but experience is not necessary. This role will support varying aspects of events including planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of events. The role will work cross functionally with multiple internal departments, properties and agencies.

What you'll do in your role.

  • Support Events Team and event management functions, including production, logistics planning, registration, housing, venue(s), event tools, etc.

  • Manage supporting elements of events, including workback schedules/timelines, giveaways, tasks/processes,

  • Build/manage event templates/processes, manage team document sharing site

The experience you'll bring.

  • Understanding of the importance of brand identity

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to react quickly and remain calm in high-pressure situations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects/events at one time, and consistently meet deadlines; strong interpersonal skills, willingness to accept and provide direction, ability to work independently while remaining a team player

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in event management, marketing, communications, business or a related field

  • At least 18 years of age by April 30th, 2022

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be actively enrolled in University/College course credits. GAP year students are ineligible.

  • External applicants eligible only. Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for UofMagenta Internships.

  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines -fully vaccinated- as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination prior to successful applicant's first day of work, and will consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase (1) as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others, or (2) for other reasons under applicable law.
