Job Descriptions:
The Technical Support Product Specialist acts as a technical expert in their assigned product line and, as such, provides support to internal and external customers in troubleshooting and technical queries. In addition, they will monitor product quality issues and drive product improvements in the product line(s) assigned, perform warranty teardown/evaluations and help manage warranties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Daily interaction with external and internal customers to provide expert-level technical support for the company's products
Coordinate efforts of internal resources to provide and implement solutions to one-time and recurring product issues
Perform warranty evaluations for failure determination and record information for technical review
Communicate orally and in writing with customers and suppliers regarding technical information and findings
Make recommendations on the eligibility of warranty claims for defective or failed pumps
Provide technical assistance and training to the Busch team and other parties as necessary
Work with production companies and drive product improvement projects to ensure that quality problems are resolved.
Promptly respond to customer requests and act as the liaison between the customer and internal departments, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
Collect data and provide feedback to production companies and product management regarding the product quality issues in their assigned product lines

Education
Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) Required
Field of Study: Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related: Preferred
Experience
Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems: Preferred
