Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Business Operations Analyst to join our TEAM! As the Business Operations Analyst we need someone who is ready to review procedures and functions to find areas of improvement. Their main duties include reviewing the CT Division's data, building reports based on these findings and recommending programs to improve the division's performance metrics.

Primary Objective:

  • Supports the Countertop Division by reviewing policies, procedures and functions to find areas of improvement. Main duties include reviewing CT Division's data, building reports based on these findings and recommending programs to improve the Division's performance metrics. Other administrative related task on needed basis and goals in driving sales.

Major Function and Scope:

Business Analytics:

  • Collecting and organizing information from various sources within the company that support the operation

  • Conducting interviews with employees and managers to identify needs of the business

  • Identifying and solving problems in various areas of the business

  • Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it

  • Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems

  • Advise managers on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem

  • Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations

Manage and execute various sampling programs such as:

  • Countertop Sample Express Program

  • Wall Reset/Launches

  • Sample replacement request

  • Communication to Stone Locations

  • Scheduling Transportation of project material and replenishments

Inventory:

  • Shipping of random samples for Arch Team

  • Scheduling Transportation of project material and replenishments

Administrative duties:

  • Event planning - responsible for coordinating schedules, agenda, location, preparing meeting materials for various customer and sales conventions, meetings and mill trips.

  • Approve and pay invoices

  • Manage website updates.

  • Set up new Vendors

  • Assures customer confidence is achieved on a consistent basis.

  • Assisting all Stone Locations with new hires

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Requires Associates degree in related field or 4+ years equivalent showroom/tile industry or project management experience.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills. Must be a self-starter who can work with little supervision and/or direction. Strong verbal/written communication skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power point and Salesforce.
