About the Role

This is an opportunity to impact marketing strategy and execution for one of the largest apparel retailers in the world. As part of Gap Inc.'s Global Direct Marketing organization, you will join the Media Operations team. This role supports best-in-class marketing across our portfolio of brands and will be instrumental to designing, executing and accelerating personalization initiatives including targeted offers, individualized messaging and curated customer experiences. This position will report to the Director of Media Operations.

What You'll Do

  • Support a brand-focused personalization task force, using marketing technology, audience segmentation tactics and product data integrations to power digital marketing campaign strategies.

  • Contribute to test ideation with digital cross-functional core: Platform teams (product management, data & analytics, digital media operations), Brand Marketing, Agencies & Technology Vendors.

  • Leverage knowledge of Gap Inc's martech stack to enable campaign requirements. Partner with vendors and agencies to support execution using tools like CDP, MMP, Analytics Tools, Ad Platforms, DSPs

  • Identify process improvements to increase media speed-to-market. Create process documentation, dashboards and live forums to communicate and scale winning tests into evergreen strategies.

  • Act as digital operations subject-matter expert with the ability to communicate personalization best practices and collaborate on strategy with senior business partners.

  • Evolve personalization strategies through frequent and thoughtful analysis of results. Evaluate the impact of program changes for customer experience and marketing effectiveness.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years digital marketing experience

  • Highly effective communicator who has managed people or agencies

  • Detail oriented with experience managing multiple priorities concurrently

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: team mindset and able to interact with various levels of management

  • Knowledge of digital marketing campaign tools & analytics platforms ex. Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook

  • Functional experience with data feeds, marketing tags, customer data management

  • Familiarity with changes in digital privacy & consent policies e.g. iOS14, CCPA, GDPR
