Description
Responsibilities include: Be a Writer Ensure that language is clear and consistent throughout software Contribute to broader discussions about style and voice Represent language as an important element of design Be Part of a Design Team Actively participate in all phases of the design process Follow through on challenging details with engineers and designers Absorb feedback, question assumptions, and articulate your point of view
Minimum Qualifications
A portfolio with samples of user interaction, content strategy, technical writing, articles about software design
Five years experience writing for user interfaces and/or user documentation

Bachelor's degree
Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Fastidious about deadlines and committed to working through the details

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
