Job Description:
Responsible for working edits, monitoring, identifying, and reporting on sessions in workqueues by aging and timely filing limits to ensure consistent workflows. Assists with resolving and escalating issues that delay coding and charge processing. Coordinates process related to missing and incomplete documentation. Assists with compiling department statistics and trends.
Education Qualifications:
2 years-experience with ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT coding.
Graduate of an approved certified coding program.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Credentialed as or eligible* for: CPC, COC, CIC, CCS-P, CCS, RHIT, RHIA.
*Applicable credentialing required within two years of date of hire.
