The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an Automated Software Development Tester with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a record of accomplishment in successful project execution.
CACI has an immediate need for an Automated Tester with Automated Testing Experience to be part of an Agile Development Scrum team. This position will work in a flexible, detail oriented, team and be responsible for design and execution of test cases as well as execution of User Acceptance Testing exercises, documentation and test documentation as related to contract deliverables in support of requirements for a complex web application. The position will be working at CACI's office in North Charleston. The project is within the Defense Health Readiness Engineering (DHRE) portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Conducting independent verification and validation (IV&V) software testing to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.
Developing and implementing automated software tests to streamline and enhance the testing process.
Applying Agile Scrum methodologies and to guide and mentor the development team in best practices.
Conducting research, design, and development of computer and network software, as well as specialized utility programs.
Maintaining and enhancing database applications within various software solutions.
Utilizing modern software development methodologies such as Agile, DEVOPS, and DEVSECOPS to ensure efficient project delivery.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
Providing guidance and training in Agile Scrum methodologies to promote continuous improvement and best practices within the team.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance
3-7 years of work experience in Software Development Lifecycle process focusing on test engineering, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
1-3 years of experience in conducting system tests in accordance with specific written test scripts.
Experience with BDD, Cucumber, Selenium and Java.
Must have experience in documenting results and documenting failures.
Experience with industry-accepted test tools, preference to cloud-based tools
Experience with application Test and Evaluation, specifically unit testing and integration testing.
Knowledge of software applications, operating systems, frameworks, integrated data environments or other technical domains.
Must be able to collaborate with technically diverse team
Desired:
BS degree in (Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems or Computer Science)
Experience with Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), or Naval Information Warfare Center - Atlantic (NIWC LANT) customers to include defense acquisition, guides, and regulations.
Knowledge of Software/Systems Engineering using Agile methodologies, with the ability to tailor to a specific system engineering process and software development tools
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Support - hosted environment operations, to include DoD/DoN Information Assurance (IA) requirements and best practices.
Defense, industry tester, or QA certifications
Experience using JIRA and the Atlassian Tool Suite

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,000 - $136,500
