Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Government Furnished Property Coordinator for a project located in and around Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $27-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Perform Receipt Inspection, Counting, Stowing, and Manual/Computer Posting of FGP and Cap
Manual Posting
Issuance of all Government Furnished Property
Identify all Material with Specification Number prior to Stowage
Inspect Material for all Items, Write Inspection Discrepancy Reports
Maintain Manual Records for Periodic Audit Accurately and Efficiently
Pull and Prepare Requested Material
Transfer, Document, Process and Submit Associated Paperwork
Provide Temporary Backup Support to Other Warehouse Functions
Actively Participate in Repair and Warehousing Process Improvements
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 Year of Materials/Warehousing Experience
Experience in the Naval Supply System; Knowledge of Material Management Principles
NASSCO Forklift Certification
US Citizen
Able to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
OSHA 10 Maritime Certification; TI does offer course to qualified Employees who have yet to obtain the Certification
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Ability to Input Data into a Computer Mainframe
Able to Plan, Organize and Priorities
Able to Work around Moving Machinery
Able to Handle Stressful Situation
Able to Lift Weight up to 50 Pounds
