As a member of the Real Estate & Development facilities team you will be able to operate as a true partner to local business unit leaders. You will work to ensure all Apple facilities and all related equipment are maintained to highest standards in a fast-paced environment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician regularly interacts with people at all levels throughout the company and always represent the Facilities Team in a professional manner. Having passion and in-depth knowledge of Property Maintenance, Facilities Operations, skilled building trades, building systems and building control systems, is essential. You should have experience developing and implementing programs. We are looking for an experienced and vibrant professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture providing vision, leadership, and communication without being afraid to dive into the details. You should also understand the nuances of being approachable and providing direction to business unit requests.
Description
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of related experience.
Experience with, and understanding of, the accurate use of common hand tools
Proficient in the use of specialized tools and test equipment
Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts
Experience with construction schematics and drawings
Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Valid California Driver's License
NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training and Universal EPA Training
High School Diploma or GED

AA or BA/BS degree
Experience with productivity software and iOS applications

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $36.85 and $55.35/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
