Job Description:
Assumes full responsibility for orientation, supervising and scheduling Nutrition Services staff. Supervises all kitchen and cafeteria functions. Problem solves issues with staff related to menu issues, equipment failures, staffing adjustments, as well as ensures compliance with all department policies and safe food handling practices. Compliance with HACCP program. Works effectively with Nursing Service and other departments to coordinate patient meals. Informs the Dietitian of pertinent information regarding patient diets or patient concerns. Assumes responsibilities for all daily operations of the department. Other duties as assigned.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Minnesota Certified Food Manager (CFM) certification obtained within 90 days of hire
Certification as a Dietary Manager preferred
