The 1st and 3rd Street Building is two of three Duluth Clinic buildings on Essentia Health's downtown campus, and it offers a wide range of specialty care. Tuition reimbursement In this position, you will: - Be in charge of the patient rooming process.- Get to perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.- Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.- Get experience and build your resume by assisting RNs, Physicians and other providers in providing direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting.- You will be part of something big --you will contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Required: - Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, or - Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant, or
Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire.
Must pass certification within two attempts
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.
